Active Week takes place every year.

We plan a range of activities to promote physical activity and to encourage children to try new sports.

Our workshops can include:

  • Mindfulness Monday
  • Yoga
  • ‘Try-It-Out’ Tuesday where children got to try activities like badminton, rugby, javelin and the high jump!
  • ‘Wake and Shake’ in the yard
  • ‘Drop Everything and Dance’ at lunchtime
  • GAA football blitz
  • Frisbee Friday
  • Sports day
