Welcome to the website for Paradise Place Educate Together National School. Our school is situated in Dublin’s north inner city on Paradise Place, just off Upper Dorset Street in Dublin 7.
We are a happy, aspirational and inclusive school, reflecting the rich diversity of families in our local area. We want to provide the children in our care with creative and challenging learning opportunities so that they develop a strong sense of belonging and commitment to our school and their learning.
As a close community, our staff get to know all of the children so that children across the school are always dealing with an adult who knows them well. Our teachers and support staff work closely together to ensure our classrooms are organised and well-looked after so that children can access the resources and support they need to become successful learners.
We have a strong commitment to creativity and aim to make the children’s learning vivid, real, engaging and exciting. We want each child to work and think independently and to develop their own gifts and talents and be proud of their achievements.
I am proud to work in this vibrant and diverse school. Our website will tell you more about us and I hope you will come to visit us. We look forward to meeting you.

Our Curriculum
Language
Children learn English and Gaeilge (Irish). Children are also encouraged to use their home languages in the classroom. Older children take part in a module of a modern foreign language.
STEM
Children study Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths, known as STEM subjects. The approach is practical and engaging with children undertaking investigations and experiments in hands-on lessons.
Social and Environmental
Children learn about History and Geography through engaging thematic learning that builds across their time at school. The children spend a half-term on each theme and the learning is cross-curricular.
Arts Education
Children learn about Visual Arts, Music and Drama. The focus is on developing children’s creativity and allowing them to present their learning in many different ways. We cultivate children’s individual talents.
Wellbeing
We emphasise physical activity throughout the day and through PE lessons. The children also learn about Social, Personal and Health Education and how to build and sustain healthy relationships.
Ethical Education
We use the ‘Learn Together’ curriculum to help children learn about values and ethical perspectives; equality and justice; belief systems and an ethical approach to the environment.
Our Awards
“We have a Plaque of Excellence for the children’s learning in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths)
“
“We are a Green School and committed to caring for our environment.“
“We are a proud Yellow Flag School for our work on Inclusion and Diversity
“
